Job Description:
ESO Consultants is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our inpatient pharmacy team in Wilmington NC. The role involves working three 12hour night shifts per week providing essential pharmaceutical support to healthcare providers and patients in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist in maintaining the medication inventory including ordering and stocking medications.
- Prepare sterile products including IVs and handle inpatient unit dose distribution.
- Ensure timely delivery of medications to patient care areas.
- Provide excellent customer service to medical staff and patients.
Requirements:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
- Previous inpatient/hospital pharmacy experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during night shifts.
Additional Details:
- No overtime (OT) until after 48 hours per week.
