Job Title: Systems Administrator ServiceNow
Location: Tallahassee Florida (Remote after brief introductory phase)
Duration: 1 yr plus extension
Rate: W2 CHP

The work will be conducted onsite and remote in Tallahassee Florida. After a brief introductory phase which will take place at the onsite location a remote option is anticipated to be offered.
General Experience: Five or more years of experience supporting administering developing and implementing various aspects of the ServiceNow platform with a focus on the Service Desk Service Catalog and configuration management database (CMDB) including Discovery configuration and implementation. The Client is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator with a certification as a Certified Professional Application Developer or Certified Professional Implementer for the ServiceNow platform.
Scope of Work/Job Characteristics
The Systems Administrator will serve as the principal line of communication for the project team. The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
Act as a ServiceNow System Administrator;
Ensure that ServiceNow usage follows industry best practices;
Ensure that ServiceNow development follows industry best practices;
Maintain the health and performance within the ServiceNow platform;
Complete the configuration and customization of applications within the ServiceNow platform;
Build manage and support workflows within the ServiceNow platform;
Implement new features and updates within the ServiceNow platform;
Provide technical enduser support for the ServiceNow platform as needed; and
Perform additional Systems Administrator tasks as required by the Department
Required Qualifications
A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science Information Systems or other related field or four (4) years of equivalent work experience
The Department requires the following experience skills and/or knowledge for this position:
Excellent communication and presentation skills including fluent in English;
Five (5) or more years of ServiceNow platform experience;
Four (4) or more years of experience as a Certified ServiceNow System Administrator;
Three (3) or more years of experience as a Certified Professional Application Developer or a Certified Professional Implementer;
Experience in ServiceNow Platform Implementation;
Experience in ServiceNow Management Instrumentation and Discovery (MID) Server;
Experience with configuring managing and supporting ServiceNow Configuration Management Database modules which include Discovery various integration tools Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Software Asset Management (SAM) and Service Mapping;
Experience in configuring managing and supporting custom widgets Flow Design Integration Hub and ServiceNows Employee Center; and
Knowledge and ability to work with Glide Ajax scripting.
NOTE: In addition to the above list the selected Candidate must successfully complete a Level II Background Check.
Preferred Qualifications
The Department prefers the Candidate to have the following experience skills and/or knowledge for this position:
Possess a valid ServiceNow Systems Administrator certification;
Possess a valid ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification;
Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles and best practices;
Knowledge of ServiceNows Information Technology Operations Management (ITOM) configuration management support and best practices;
Knowledge of ServiceNows Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) configurations management support and best practices;
Experience with administering Windows servers;
Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice environment;
Excellent problemsolving skills to address technical challenges and optimize system performance;
Knowledge of best practices and implementation using multiple companies/agencies within the same instances of ServiceNow;
Knowledge of ServiceNows Governance Risk and Compliance configuration management support and best practices; and
Knowledge of ServiceNows Performance Analytics configuration management support and best practices.
