Are you passionate about driving innovation in the automotive industry through advanced data technologies VxLabs is seeking a Junior Full Stack Engineer. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining sophisticated backend services that support realtime data processing and analytics. As part of our engineering team you will build scalable systems on cloud and utilize the latest in cloud technologies to deliver LeadingEdge automotive data products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing developing and maintaining web applications using Node.js on the backend and React.js on the frontend.
- Work closely with senior engineers and team members to implement new features and resolve bugs.
- Participate in building and integrating RESTful APIs with the frontend.
- Assist in maintaining databases such as MongoDB PostgreSQL or similar.
- Optimize code for performance and scalability under the guidance of senior developers.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and actively contribute to team discussions.
- Continuously learn new technologies and apply them to improve the platform.
Requirements
- 12 years of experience as a fullstack engineer
- Familiarity with Node.js and React.js.
- Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript).
- Understanding of state management libraries such as Redux or Context API (a plus but not required).
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of working with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems.
- Eagerness to learn problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to TypeScript.
- Understanding of modern backend technologies like Express.js.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
- Some knowledge of modern authentication mechanisms (e.g. OAuth2 JWT).
