Job Description
Our customer is looking for a Business Continuity Management Consultant to join their team in Charleroi Belgium. In this hybrid role you will be responsible for designing and implementing business continuity policies in close collaboration with stakeholders. If you have strong experience in business continuity management ideally in the energy sector and are rigorous proactive and autonomous this position is for you.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for:
- Design develop and maintain policies procedures and guidelines related to business continuity ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements;
- Conduct impact assessments to identify critical processes and necessary resources;
- Identify potential threats and assess risks related to business interruptions while staying updated on trends and developments in business continuity;
- Actively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement mechanisms for managing operational crises;
- Train and raise awareness among employees about business continuity and crisis management.
Required Skills
- Preferably a university degree in sciences management engineering IT economics or a similar field ideally with a specialization in risk management;
- Familiarity with current business continuity standards;
- Ideally certified in BCM (CBCP MBCI etc.);
- At least 5 years of significant professional experience in business continuity management or a similar role;
- Experience in the energy sector is preferred;
- Experience in impact assessments and risk evaluations;
- Ability to work under pressure and manage crisis situations;
- Strong listening and communication skills;
- Rigor precision proactivity and autonomy;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Frenchspeaking.
