Are you a techsavvy individual with a passion for helping others Affinity Services is seeking a dedicated Help Desk Technician to join our team! In this role you will provide exceptional technical support to our clients ensuring their IT issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests via phone email and chat
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for endusers
- Document all support interactions in the ticketing system and track issues through to resolution
- Assist with the installation configuration and maintenance of computer systems and applications
- Provide user training on software and hardware as needed
- Collaborate with the IT team to escalate complex issues and improve support processes
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure timely updates of software applications
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies to better assist users
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of computer systems hardware and software applications
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
- Effective communication skills with a customerfocused attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools is a plus
- Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is an advantage but not required
