Product Manager - Insurtech

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy and Roadmap Development: Work directly with the founder to define and articulate the product vision and strategy. Develop and maintain product roadmaps that align with business objectives and market needs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with crossfunctional teams including engineering design marketing and sales to gather requirements prioritize features and ensure successful product delivery.
• Customer Insights: Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to understand user needs and pain points. Use this information to drive product improvements and new feature development.
• Documentation: Create detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) that communicate product specifications and business needs to the development team.
• Project Management: Oversee the product development process from conception to launch ensuring timely delivery and highquality outcomes. Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet project goals.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics postlaunch to identify areas for improvement and ensure products meet user expectations and business objectives.
• Innovation and Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities for product enhancements and innovations that will drive growth and improve user satisfaction.

Competencies

• At least 5 years of overall experience in product management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management within the Insurance technologies industry. Preferably with exposure to Insurtech or insurance software solutions.
• Overall understanding of insurance business and product life cycle management.

• Entrepreneurial spirit strong written and verbal communication.
• Stakeholder management/ Ability to interact and communicate well with crossfunctional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with product management tools and methodologies.
• Mindset: A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and scaling products.
• Location: Willingness to work onsite in Hyderabad.

Education & Experience

• Graduate or Postgraduate with recent prior experience in Product management of insurance technologies.
• Experience working with low / no code frameworks is advantageous.
• Experience in solutioning and engaging with clients in a presales capacity is advantageous.
