Job Description
1,Study the project drawings, requirements, and to develop a dimensional control /measurement plan detailing the intervention stages in consultation with project quality lead
2,Responsible for planning and of all survey work and ensure that all mating interfaces between fabrication, marine and others are accurately measured, and that “best-fit” scenarios have been evaluated, established.
3,Ensures the DC ITP is strictly followed at each stage, include updates the plan to incorporate any process changes to scope of planned survey work
4,Ensure DC Surveyors are provided with the latest revisions of design, Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings, and project specifications.
5,Liaise with the Client Discipline Representative on all matters affecting dimensional control.
6,Direct and supervise dimensional control activities at the site.
7,Review, approve, and submit dimensional control reports to the Project In Charge.
8,Maintain accurate records of all dimensional inspections and control activities.
9,Keep a log of all dimensional control survey requests and results
10,Ensure all dimensional survey equipment are calibrated and valid.
