partner staffing on behalf of our Client are seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Municipal Land Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position will play a crucial role in the planning design and of municipal and land development projects throughout Alberta and Western Canada. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering within the land development and municipal infrastructure sector with a strong understanding of local Alberta regulations and standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the design and development of municipal projects including subdivisions and private sites.
Prepare and review engineering designs drawings specifications and project proposals for civil infrastructure components such as roads stormwater management water distribution and wastewater systems.
Experience in stormwater design and hydraulic modeling.
Conduct site assessments feasibility studies and risk analyses to ensure the viability of proposed developments.
Manage project timelines budgets and client expectations ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule.
Coordinate with government agencies contractors developers and other stakeholders to ensure project approval and regulatory compliance.
Perform construction inspections site visits and quality control reviews during the construction phase of projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta or eligible for registration with APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta).
5 years of experience in land development municipal infrastructure and civil design.
Proficient in industrystandard software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D EPANET and StormCAD.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members clients and stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work within tight deadlines.
