Job Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Status Call Clerk to assist in managing client case updates and administrative followups. The ideal candidate will communicate regularly with the Social Security Administration Veterans Affairs and clients to provide status updates follow up on attorney fees and ensure reimbursement of medical record costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Status Updates: Call the Social Security Administration (SSA) and Veterans Affairs (VA) to inquire about the status of clients cases and provide updates to internal teams.
- Client Communication: Call clients to update them on the status of their cases and address any questions or concerns.
- Attorney Fee FollowUp: Follow up on outstanding attorney fees and ensure timely payment and resolution.
- Medical Records Reimbursement: Track and follow up on reimbursements for medical records costs related to client cases.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer support experience is a must legal background preferred
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using office software (e.g. Word Excel).
- Experience in administrative or clerical roles preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Social Security Administration and Veterans Affairs processes is a plus.
- Prior experience in legal or medical administrative roles.
