Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista to support the daily operations of our busy restaurant in Tipperary Ireland . The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. As a Barista you will be an integral part of our team ensuring that our customers enjoy a delightful experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of a variety of food items including sandwiches pastries salads and other menu offerings.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a prompt and courteous manner ensuring a high standard of service.
- Take orders at the counter or at tables providing menu recommendations and answering any customer queries.
- Support the Barista in preparing and serving hot and cold beverages as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the caf including the dining area kitchen and storage spaces.
- Monitor food stock levels assist with ordering supplies and ensure proper storage of food items.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables washing dishes and performing general cleaning duties.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to ensure smooth service and a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar food and beverage or hospitality role is preferred.
- A strong passion for food and a desire to learn more about the culinary arts.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
