Job Description
Are you ready for an exciting opportunity Join us as a fulltime Speech Language Pathologist for the current academic school year. This position guarantees you fulltime hours until the end of the school year and the potential for renewal based on your exceptional performance.
Job Description:
- Deliver compassionate customized therapy to meet the diverse needs of each client.
- Perform thorough assessments to evaluate speech language and swallowing capabilities.
- Ensure accurate comprehensive documentation of assessments therapy plans and client progress.
- Work closely with clients their families and interdisciplinary teams to set and monitor therapy milestones.
- Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in speechlanguage pathology through continuous learning.
- Create personalized therapy plans tailored to each clients specific needs and goals using the results from evaluations.
- Educate clients and their families on communication and swallowing challenges offering practical solutions to support improvement.
Requirements
- Must hold an ASHA certification
- A Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology or a related degree is required
- Must hold or be eligible to apply for an Illinois SpeechLanguage Pathology license
