Cloud Engineer AWS Azure Infrastructure as Code

This is a remote position.

• Identifies and resolves problems related to public cloud infrastructure in a timely manner and analyses information skillfully.
  
• Develop Infrastructure as Code to build and maintain public cloud environments.
  
• Update and maintain git repositories.
  
• Focuses on solving technical problems in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Contributes to the development of strategies policies and best practices through participation in team meetings and other direct contributions.
  
• Provides technical guidance and end user training.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  
• 2 years of experience and knowledge of public cloud (Azure and AWS).
  
• Ability to automate with Infrastructure as Code using a variety of technology types (ARM CloudFormation Terraform Ansible Python PowerShell).
  
• Crossfunctional IT expertise (storage network and database infrastructure).
  
• Strong experience with both Windows and Linux servers.
  
• Experience with knowledge of public cloud compute and storage technologies used with Azure (Disk Blob Files) and AWS (EBS EFS S3).
  
• Experience with knowledge of public cloud networking architecture used with Azure (vNet load balancers Virtual WAN VPN Express Route) and AWS (VPC load balancers transit gateway VPN Direct Connect).
  
• Experience with knowledge of public cloud identity and access management methods.
  
• Excellent documentation intercommunication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Initiates professionalism excellent leadership interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Works independently as well as in a cooperative team environment.
  
• Demonstrates fast and independent learning capabilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Atlassian tool suite (Jira Bitbucket Confluence etc.).
  

• Artifact binary repository management.
  

• Scripting experience (Bash Ansible Python Groovy Powershell etc.).
  

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  

• Knowledge of configuration file types (YAML JSON).
  

• Familiar with DevOps practices.
  

• Have a strong sense of networking in public cloud.
