Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a versatile Full Stack Developer with expertise in iOS development and the ability to work on web applications as well. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in native iOS app development using Swift and ObjectiveC with knowledge of Android development and hybrid frameworks for future crossplatform needs. This role will focus primarily on iOS development but will also involve web app development and ensuring that the mobile applications can be adapted for Android as needed. The position requires proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies to create fully functional scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

iOS App Development:

• Develop maintain and enhance native iOS applications using Swift and ObjectiveC ensuring highquality performance and an excellent user experience.

Web Application Development:

• Build and maintain responsive and scalable web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.

Hybrid App Development (iOS & Android):

• Utilize hybrid development frameworks (such as React Native Flutter or Ionic) to enable crossplatform applications that can be deployed on both iOS and Android when needed.

API Integration:

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to ensure smooth communication between mobile/web applications and backend services.

Database Management:

• Design and manage databases to support web and mobile applications ensuring efficient data storage security and retrieval.

UI/UX Development:

• Collaborate with designers and product teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional frontend components for both mobile and web applications.

Performance Optimization:

• Ensure applications are optimized for performance scalability and efficiency on both iOS and web platforms.

Testing and Debugging:

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and reliability of applications across multiple platforms and devices.

Version Control:

• Maintain clean and scalable code using version control systems (e.g. Git) and collaborate with team members for continuous development.

Ad Hoc Tasks:

• Complete any additional tasks related to the development and maintenance of applications based on business needs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on native iOS development.
• Proven experience in developing web applications using modern frameworks (e.g. React Angular or Vue.js).
• Exposure to Android development and hybrid app frameworks (e.g. React Native Flutter or Ionic).
• Proficiency in Swift and ObjectiveC.
• Proficient in frontend (HTML CSS JavaScript) and backend development (Node.js Python Ruby or equivalent).
• Familiarity with crossplatform frameworks for future Android development.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB).
• Experience with creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git and collaboration tools.
• Experience in developing and deploying both mobile and web applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and provide efficient solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication to collaborate with both technical and nontechnical team members.
• Amenable to working Monday to Friday between 8 AM 5 PM Pacific Time (US/Canada)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with React Native Flutter or Ionic for building crossplatform applications.
• Experience with cloudbased services (AWS Google Cloud Azure) for app deployment and management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools like Jira or Trello for task management and collaboration.
• Experience working closely with design teams to implement userfriendly interfaces and experiences.
• Experience in building and maintaining websites is a plus.
