    We are currently seeking candidates for a position in our HR Division Recruitment & PR Group.

    At the company we leverage advanced machine learning techniques including deep learning accumulated through the development of Shogi AI as our unique core technology. Our business spans a wide range from BtoC game app development (such as Shogi Wars) to BtoB AI solutions and SaaS product development.

    With the emergence of generative AI technologies like Stable Diffusion and Chat GPT the AI industry is gaining even more attention. This sector is becoming increasingly competitive attracting not only existing AI companies but also a multitude of new entrants ranging from major corporations to venture startups.

    In this intense business competition public relations play a crucial role in showcasing our technological capabilities and achievements to the world. About half of our 70 employees are AIspecialized engineers each embodying our companys philosophy of standing out. We aim to shine a spotlight on the work of these diverse employees and reach as many people as possible.

    While the company is involved in multiple businesses we are focusing on B2B business to drive company growth. We are looking for a PR specialist who can accelerate PR and communication activities contributing to the growth of our B2B business. As PR tasks are not yet fully standardized within the organization this is a phase where you can actively contribute your own PR ideas to the overall company activities.

    Responsibilities:

    • PR for each business/product
    • of corporate communication
    • Media relations
    • Handling inquiries and interviews
    • Planning creating and distributing press releases
    • Planning and managing various surveys and internal events

    After joining we aim to assign a variety of crossgroup projects beyond the listed duties depending on your experience and preferences.

    Position Highlights:

    This position offers the following environment to fully engage in and take the lead in PR activities:

    • High degree of autonomy to challenge and work freely toward company growth
    • Continued profitability for over 10 years in the smartphone game industry particularly in the Shogi game business which is enjoyed by 7 million users
    • Abundance of AI knowhow gained through the Shogi game business with consultants and engineers who can provide real examples of how AI can be effectively utilized in business
    • Active engagement in verification experiments for cuttingedge generative AI technologies like ChatGPT leading to the development of new products

    About the Team:

    The HR Division Recruitment & PR Group consists of one group manager two recruitment members and one PR member totaling three members. While remote work is common we have many online social events. Discussions are lively and members actively participate in discussions across groups respecting each others opinions on topics related to technology and organizational development. We aim to continue facilitating active communication utilizing individual strengths and providing a space for everyone to grow not only as a company but also as individuals.

Conditions / Benefits

Employment type: Full time

Annual Salary:JPY

  • Based on experience ability and previous work experience
  • Bonus paid twice a year (August February)
  • A fixed overtime allowance equivalent to 20 hours is provided regardless of the presence of overtime work.
    • Additional overtime pay is provided for hours worked beyond the initial 20 hours.

Hours: 10:00 19:00 (1hour break included)

  • 8 hour work days
  • Telecommuting and flexible work arrangements are available subject to prior approval.
  • Annual Holidays: Regular days off every week (Saturdays and Sundays) national holidays and other days designated by the company.
  • Paid Time Off: 10 days granted after 6 months of continuous service (increasing with years of service up to a maximum of 23 days).
  • Other Leaves: Special leave upon joining yearend and New Year leave special leave for illness and bereavement leave are available.
