Database Security Architect

Job Title: Database Security Architect
Location: Dallas TX (mostly hybrid)
Client: Retail Client
Responsibilities: Ensure NMG corporate databases comply with regulatory requirements coordinate database security vulnerability assessments identify and mitigate deficiencies partner with business IT and security organizations to implement and automate security controls.
Essential Functions: Lead database vulnerability assessments develop mitigation plans for vulnerabilities review and modify database standards provide technical support for data scanning act as database SME during risk and compliance assessments.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in related field 10 years of experience in Oracle database security and administration preferred certifications in database security and administration.
Technical Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of database security Identity and Access Management & Governance concepts and technologies database vulnerability management tools control frameworks and objectives operating systems databases middleware components compliance and risk assessments IT and security project management.
