Job Title: Desktop Support Level 2
Location: Boise Idaho
Job Description On behalf of our client we are seeking a dedicated Desktop Support PPD Level 2 professional to join their team in Boise ID. This role involves providing comprehensive technical support to onsite and remote users managing user incidents and ensuring the smooth operation of desktop environments. The ideal candidate will have strong problemsolving skills excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Manage user incidents routed from the Service Desk ensuring highquality support and timely responses escalating issues as necessary.
- Provide efficient support services to both onsite and remote users.
- Load and install preconfigured images on PCs troubleshooting any failures.
- Deploy desktops laptops monitors and other equipment/software to end users.
- Replace and upgrade userreplaceable components (e.g. hard drives memory graphic cards).
- Troubleshoot basic network issues including activating ports VPN connections and basic switch configurations.
- Address hardware and accessory issues (e.g. desktops laptops monitors printers mobile devices A/V equipment).
- Manage PC equipment moves within the main site and offsite locations.
- Perform basic Active Directory administration tasks (e.g. adding and removing objects).
Qualifications:
- 3 years of enduser technical support experience preferred.
- A Certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of the following technologies:
- Active Directory
- Windows XP 7 and 10
- Antivirus/antimalware programs
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Building/imaging computers
- Wiring/Cabling
- Network technologies
- Installation and support of a wide range of peripherals
