Estimated pay range: 71.11 88.88 per client contract and candidate skills experience and work location.
Job Description
- As a HCM data engineer for Enterprise Analytics (EA) team your responsibilities will include:
- Data Warehousing: Design develop and maintain data structures that facilitate efficient data processing storage and retrieval in an enterprise data warehouse (EDW).
- SQL: Proficiently create debug and optimize stored procedures functions and views to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Python: Leverage Python for scripting and automation tasks enhancing data workflows and processes.
- Data Modeling: Efficiently design data pipelines by understanding the project needs and creating Source to Target Mappings (STTM) Technical Specs with a scalable & performant architecture in Snowflake.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and integrity by validating and cleansing data identifying and resolving anomalies and implementing data quality checks.
- Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including data analysts scientists and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience with Snowflake data warehousing is ideal. But experience with other DW tools like SQL Server Oracle SAP HANA will also be considered.
- Strong proficiency in SQL programming including the ability to create and debug stored procedures functions and views.
- Experience with Python for scripting and automation tasks is preferred.
- Prior experience with data extraction & reporting on HCM data (ex: Workday OHCM SAP HCM) is a must.
- Selfmotivated and eager to take ownership of projects.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Information Systems Engineer: Performs IT functions such as design analysis evaluation testing debugging and implementation of applications programs supporting the company infrastructure business processes and operations and/or networkbased (cloud) product systems.
- Analyzes installs acquires modifies and supports operating systems database or utilities software.
- Plans conducts and directs the analysis of business problems with automated systems solutions.
- Analyzes designs acquires and implements projects for LAN and/or WAN systems.
- Plans designs acquires and implements telecommunications voice/wire systems.
- At higher job levels may contribute to the development testing evaluation or design of system or infrastructure architecture used throughout the IT solution set.
