Job Summary:
The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for safeguarding our organizations information systems by identifying and mitigating security threats. This role involves monitoring network traffic analyzing security incidents and implementing security measures to ensure the confidentiality integrity and availability of our data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for security incidents and potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
- Develop and implement security policies protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance security measures.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
- Prepare and present reports on security incidents and mitigation efforts.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven at least 2 years of experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM IDS/IPS and vulnerability scanners.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (GDPR ISO 27001).
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP CEH CompTIA Security) are a plus.
