Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Hardware Design Engineer with deep expertise in power intent verification UPF file creation and RTL power optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring robust power verification by creating and maintaining UPF files working with RTL engineers and running VCLP for Schip and SoC designs.
Responsibilities:
- UPF File Creation: Design create and maintain UPF files for complex UPF blocks based on power intent specifications collaborating closely with RTL engineers.
- Guidance and Support: Provide guidance to RTL engineers in creating UPF files for less complicated blocks.
- VCLP : Execute VCLP (VoltageControl Logic Probes) for Schip and SoC UPF creation and verification.
- Power Verification: Ensure compliance with power intent specs through comprehensive power verification steps.
- Optimization: Leverage power analysis and optimization tools like PrimePower PPRTL/PowerArtist and Empower to drive efficiency where applicable.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in hardware design engineering with a focus on UPF and power intent verification.
- Proven expertise in creating UPF files at block and SoC levels and other intermediate levels.
- Strong understanding of Power Intent requirements and specifications.
- Expert user of VCLP for power verification.
- Familiarity with power analysis tools such as PrimePower PowerArtist and Empower is a plus.
