Job Description
Graphic Designer Remote
Our client a prominent company in the printing industry is seeking to hire three Graphic Designers. This role offers a unique opportunity for experienced designers to work remotely in a professional environment contributing to the creation of accessible and innovative design solutions.

6month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
Utilize InDesign for design work with a focus on interactive form design.
Work with Acrobat Pro for form creation and document handling.
Design and remediate PDFs for accessibility ensuring compliance with industry standards such as WCAG 2.2 and PDF/UA Level AA.
Collaborate effectively with the team following instructions carefully and showing a willingness to learn new tools or methods.
Communicate clearly with team members contributing to an efficient workflow.
Work on PC platforms though familiarity with both PC and Mac environments is considered an advantage.
What you will need to succeed:
Proficient with InDesign for design work especially interactive form design.
Experience using Acrobat Pro.
Knowledge of PDF remediation and designing for accessibility standards like WCAG 2.2 and PDF/UA Level AA.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Follows instructions well and demonstrates a quick learning ability.
Familiarity with PC platforms.
Familiarity with Mac platform.
Nice to Have:
Experience using CommonLook PDF to remediate accessible PDFs for AODA standards.
Familiarity with JavaScript or other coding languages.
Ability to speak and write in French.
Understanding and use of Paragraph styles.
