Job Description

Position Overview:
A leading innovator in the machine tool industry is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the installation repair upgrading and engineering of CNC machinery and systems. This position is responsible for postsales technical support including troubleshooting maintenance and operational training for customers in the Northwest region.

We welcome candidates at all experience levels from entry to experienced engineers and will offer challenges appropriate to the candidate s experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide postsales technical support including the installation troubleshooting repair and upgrading of CNC equipment and peripherals.
  • Plan and coordinate activities related to equipment installation repair and upgrades.
  • Investigate and resolve customerreported technical issues and identify ways to prevent future problems.
  • Examine machinery review work orders and interact with operators to detect problems and determine whether they stem from mechanical or human error.
  • Analyze data to determine the root cause of issues and perform or recommend repairs upgrades or corrective actions.
  • Advise management and factory engineers on equipment defects customer feedback and product improvements.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to coordinate work activities and manage priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in engineering (electrical mechanical or engineering technology).
  • 25 years of experience in a machine tool company.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc machines and CNC systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems and diagrams.
  • Ability to operate forklift trucks and manual lifting equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel 30%50% for onsite work.

Schedule:
Fulltime Monday to Friday 8hour shifts.
