Job Description
One of our prestigious clients is seeking a Senior Local Content Specialist to be based in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Your future role:
To lead the efforts aimed at achieving the companys localization mandate establishing the local maritime ecosystem maintaining and developing long term relationships with suppliers. This role acts as the technical and commercial interface between suppliers and the organization.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop implement and update companys localization strategies policies and procedures.
- Develop companys suppliers attraction incentive package to attract reputed foreign suppliers to establish their manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia.
- Work with potential suppliers to develop and approve their localization plans and to monitor the implementation of suppliers approved localization plans to ensure the localization targets are achieved.
- Cooperate with other local localization program associations to avoid overlapping while attracting suppliers.
- Assist suppliers in identifying local sources of raw materials as required.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Operations Management Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 915 years of relevant experience in contract procurement role.
- Certification in Contract Management or related field.
- Good knowledge of Supplier Relation Management.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and work efficiently.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
