Job Description
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to lead the development of a web platform aimed at providing postsecondary orientation for young students in the Fdration WallonieBruxelles region. The platform will offer modules on professional interests motivation and transversal skills enhancing the existing ADA platform.
The role will involve managing the technical development of the platform ensuring it meets user needs and quality standards. The project can be managed primarily remotely with occasional inperson meetings in Brussels or LouvainLaNeuve.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Management
- Organize plan and supervise the development of the platform until final delivery.
- Ensure quality control compliance with technical requirements and manage project scope.
- Collaborate with the IT partner to meet project deadlines.
- Handle change requests and document updates.
- Ensure the platform meets inclusivity standards.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the main point of contact for all IT developmentrelated queries.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
- Lead a working group to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Budget & Risk Management
- Manage the project budget and address any deviations.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks related to accessibility compatibility etc.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Maintain professional communication with collaborators to ensure efficient project progress.
- Manage information sharing and reporting within the project.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Degree in IT Technology or Mathematics.
- Experience:
- 610 years of IT project management experience.
- Experience with IT development and managing web platforms.
- Languages: Fluent in French.
- Technical Skills:
- Project management methodologies (Prince2 Agile etc.).
- Knowledge of IT architecture application development and infrastructure.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work in a team and manage conflict.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
