Job Summary:
The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices payments and receipts. Reconcile accounts and ensure timely payment of bills.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and update the general ledger ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards company policies and relevant regulations. Assist with audits and tax filings.
- Expense Management: Monitor and manage company expenses ensuring proper documentation and approval.
- Support: Provide support to the finance team and other departments as needed. Assist with special projects and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 23 years of accounting experience preferably in a similar role. Experience in Agriculture Manufacturing or Construction industry is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks SAP Oracle or etc.).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
