Job Description
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective budgeting and cost management.
- Monitor expenses alongside the budget.
- Indentify opportunities for cost optimisation/savings.
- Conduct budgeting on annual basis and obtain approval.
- Compile & motivate adhoc requests for expenditure over and above the budget to ensure operations run smoothly.
- Understand the needs of the internal customer.
- Put processes in place to meet customer needs.Obtain customer feedback to determine that needs are met.
- Build & maintain customer relationships.
- Ensure products meet quality & quantity standards at all times to avoid unsatisfied customers.
- Implement operational plans for Group.
- Drive and of the operational plans.
- Identify operational deviations and provide solutions with a timeline for corrective action.
- Mentor and coach subordinates.
- Ensure employees are trained in relevant skills.
- Implement the HR strategy.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure maximised availability.
- Take responsibility for own development to stay abreast.
- Manage the performance of the Group production teams.
- Ensure effective communication to all employees about matters that affect them.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve the production process.
- Institute a safety culture and awareness is continually raised.
- Ensure compliance to all company policy & procedure and manage breach of policy timeously.
- Plan & project manage all capital projects on the plants.
- Provide expertise and technical advise to the production facilities.
Requirements
- 10 years relevant experience.
- Language Proficiency: Portuguese and English
- Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting strategic planning resource allocation human resources).
- Knowledge of industry equipment and technical expertise.
Knowledge of safety quality productivity demand creation and inventory processes.
Additional information
This factory produces foam various mattress and base sets and bedding and has manufacturing facilities in Luanda but also in the provinces which he will coordinate with and periodically visit.
