Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Financial Analyst Supervisor to lead our financial analysis team. In this role you will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports guide the development of financial models and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills leadership experience and a deep understanding of financial principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of financial analysts providing guidance training and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports including budgets forecasts and variance analyses.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning decisionmaking and financial forecasting.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand financial implications and provide insights on business performance.
- Prepare and present financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance financial reporting and analysis.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and adapt financial strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field; Masters degree or professional certification (e.g. CFA CPA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling data analysis and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team of professionals.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g. Excel ERP systems financial modeling software).
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
