Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR principles exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in managing HR operations. As the Director of HR you will play a critical role in shaping our organizational culture driving employee engagement and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
- Design and manage employee onboarding training and development programs.
- Implement performance management systems and support career development.
- Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to senior management on HRrelated matters including employee relations conflict resolution and organizational development.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make datadriven decisions.
- Lead and mentor the HR team fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
- Drive diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field. Masters degree or HR certification (e.g. SHRMSCP SPHR) preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in strategic HR planning organizational development and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws regulations and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using HR metrics to drive decisions.
