Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing implementing and maintaining data pipelines on GCP.
Responsibilities include developing ETL processes optimizing data storage and retrieval and ensuring data integrity and security.
Proficiency in BigQuery Dataflow and Cloud Storage is essential.
Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Google Composer is preferred.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions are a must.
Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Implement efficient ETL processes to ingest transform and load large volumes of data.
Optimize data storage solutions on GCP ensuring high performance and costeffectiveness.
Ensure data integrity reliability and security throughout the data lifecycle.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Utilize GCP services such as Big Query Dataflow and Cloud Storage to extract insights from data.
Troubleshoot and resolve datarelated issues ensuring minimal downtime and maximum data availability.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and GCP services contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Education:
A bachelors degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
