Position: RN Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Step Down

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights7:00 PM 7:30 AM 12

Shift Notes: 36 hours per week

Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend

OnCall Requirements: None

Traveler Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates 35mile radius restriction)

ICU beds: 10

RN to patient ratio: 1:2

Dress Code: Bright Blue or Gray Scrubs

Further Specifics:

• Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
• OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
• Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.

This position will be working in Intensive Care (ICU) and Stepdown (SDU) which are in the Intermediate Intensive Care Unit.

• Develops coordinates and delivers care to critically ill patients from adolescent to geriatric.
• Cares for a wide variety of patient diagnoses including medical surgical cardiac and neurosurgical.
• Maintains the standards of professional nursing.
• Supervises CNA/SNA LPN or other health care workers as assigned.

• References NOT required.
• A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
• Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit it would be in the travelers best interest to provide a writeup of what happened for the managers review.
• Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
• Fulltime employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.

• 2 years of ICU experience Required
• Travelers will be required to work the holidays
• Travel experience Preferred
