Job Description
Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a Physical Therapist(PT). We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Phoenix AZ 85016
Assignment Start Date: 12/2/2024
13 weeks Days 8hour shift 40 hours with 36 hours guaranteed per week
The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please contact a recruiter for full details.This position provides outpatient orthopedic & sports physical therapy services primarily to a pediatric population from school age through adolescence/young adulthood. The applicant should be adept and comfortable independently managing the complete continuum of professional services from patient access to appropriate coding and billing practices according to legal/ethical guidelines and hospital policy. Performs evaluations program planning and treatment of patients using exercise neuromuscular reeducation joint and soft tissue mobilization taping electrical stimulation thermal modalities etc. specific to age athletic activity and developmental/functional level determined by assessment. This position will demonstrate an understanding of billing and coding practices as appropriate for professional outpatient services and its revenue cycle.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Must have at least 2 years experience treating coaching or teaching ages 718
- At least 2 years of athletic experience as a player coach official etc. preferred
- Sports/Orthopedic physical therapy setting
Education:
- BA or higher degree from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association is required
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy license before the start date
- BLS for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association before the start date.
- Holds or is eligible to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) to render and bill for independent professional services before the start date.
- Certified Clinical Specialist (SCS OCS) preferred
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) preferred
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) preferred
- Dry Needling Certification preferred
- Tool Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization Certification preferred
- Kinesiology or Specialty Taping Certification preferred
Shift: MF varying hours 10 AM 7:30 PM
COVID/FLU Vaccination: COVID19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required from October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by the Hospital before starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID19 will be required to sign a Declination & Masking Protocol agreement and must mask during the respiratory virus season.
