Job Description
Position: Mechanical Engineer Downhole Tools
Location: Houston TX (Onsite)
Type: Contract
Exp: 5 8 years
Job Requirements
- Design and develop tubing plugging and abandonment solutions for Oil & Gas projects.
- Conduct thorough testing and analysis of the designed solutions to ensure their effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform all types of Coiled Tubing related calculations simulations and recording.
- Prepare Coiled Tubing Procedures and Job Programs.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of the designed solutions into the overall project plan.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends technologies and regulations related to tubing plugging and abandonment in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Troubleshoot tubingrelated issues and perform root cause analysis
- Identify and propose improvements to existing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements or corrective actions
Work Experience
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience of test fixture design testing of oil and gas tools
- Proven experience in tubing plugging and abandonment design and testing within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for design and analysis.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
