Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for writing executing and maintaining test cases to validate the functionality and performance of software. This role requires strong analytical and problemsolving skills along with a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Case Development: Develop comprehensive test cases based on project requirements and specifications ensuring coverage of all functional and nonfunctional aspects of the software application.
2. Test : Execute test cases to identify defects or issues in the software ensuring that all components and functionalities are thoroughly tested.
3. Defect Reporting and Tracking: Document and report any defects or issues found during testing in a clear and concise manner using appropriate defect tracking tools. Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
4. Test Documentation: Create and maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of test cases test plans and test results ensuring compliance with project standards.
5. Test Environment Setup: Test data preparation and test environment validation.
6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers business analysts and project managers to ensure a common understanding of project requirements and deliverables. Communicate test progress test results and any potential risks or issues to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing methodologies tools and techniques. Contribute to the enhancement of the overall quality assurance process within the project.
Requirements:
Manufacturing experience.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources (HR) Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst preferably on software development or HR projects.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and best practices.
Proficiency in writing clear concise and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
Experience with defect tracking tools and test management systems.
Familiarity with different types of testing such as functional regression performance and usability.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with SAP Workforce solution for Time & Leave Management and ALMQC a plus.
Familiarity with HR Systems a plus.
