Job Description

Job Title: HR Policy Developer (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and revise HR policies procedures and guidelines in compliance with labor laws and company goals.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry best practices and emerging HR trends to inform policy development.
  • Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure policies meet regulatory requirements and reflect ethical business practices.
  • Ensure that all HR policies are clearly communicated to employees and management through training handbooks and other communication channels.
  • Review existing policies regularly and recommend updates or new policies to address changing business needs or regulatory changes.
  • Develop policy implementation plans including timelines and communication strategies.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex HR issues related to policy interpretation and application.
  • Ensure consistent application of policies across all departments and locations.
  • Support HR teams in handling employee relations matters grievances and compliance investigations.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of HR policies and recommend adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience in HR policy development employment law or human resources management.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices with the ability to apply them in a business setting.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to explain complex HR policies clearly and concisely.
  • Proven experience in drafting and revising HR policies and procedures for organizations.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to think strategically about policy impacts.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with HR legal and business leaders.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Certification in HR (SHRMCP PHR or similar).
  • Experience in developing HR policies for multinational companies or diverse workforces.
  • Experience in HR software and tools for managing policies and compliance.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
