Job Description
Job Title: Oracle Data Warehouse Developer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data models to support business requirements ensuring optimal data structure and relationships.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Oracle tools (e.g. Oracle Data Integrator SQL*Loader) to extract transform and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Create and manage database schemas tables views and indexes to optimize performance and data integrity.
- Write complex SQL queries and optimize them for performance ensuring efficient data retrieval and reporting.
- data validation and cleansing processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data in the warehouse.
- Work closely with data analysts business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor and tune database performance addressing any issues that arise and ensuring optimal system performance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data warehouse architecture ETL processes and data models.
- Support the development of reports and dashboards using Oracle BI tools or other reporting platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience as an Oracle Data Warehouse Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with ETL tools specifically Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or similar.
- Experience in data modeling tools (e.g. ERwin Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler).
- Knowledge of database design principles and best practices.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts including star/snowflake schema designs.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
