Job Description
Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: San Francisco CA (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build test and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve deployment efficiency.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
- Ensure high availability scalability and security of applications and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments infrastructure and application performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes configurations and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively manage and respond to system performance and reliability issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash Python or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and their services.
- Experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible CloudFormation).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack).
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
