Job Description
• Create detailed AV system designs, layouts, schematics, and diagrams using CAD software (such as AutoCAD or Revit).
• Collaborate with AV engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and develop accurate designs that meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for AV systems, including cable schedules, equipment lists, rack elevations, and floor plans.
• Review and update CAD drawings to reflect changes in project scope, design revisions, or new client requirements.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practices in AV system design.
• Assist in developing technical drawings and specifications for proposals, installations, and as-built documentation.
• Support the coordination of AV installation activities by providing accurate and clear technical drawings to installation teams.
• Conduct quality checks on design documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Work with other design team members to ensure consistency and compatibility across multiple projects.
