We are currently recruiting for Lead Corporate Services Officer for Corporate Services - Management.
The role is responsible to support the line manager by leading the day-to-day functions of Corporate Services by overseeing corporate services inventory and stores management. You will act as an owner and support operations by avoiding and/or minimizing operational disruptions.
Specific responsibilities for the role include:
• Responsible for end-to-end operations of Corporate Services Stores ensuring items are available within the store; if not, solutions to be provided for alternative course of action to avoid disruption of operations.
• Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts, ABC analysis, reconciling with data storage systems, keep stock control system up to date at all times.
• Monitor inventory lines for hit-rate, consumption patterns by applying industry best practices to keep stocks replenished at all times, at optimum stocking levels for critical day-to-day operations.
• Keep tab on near expiry items and publish to internal stakeholders well in time so they can plan usage of items before expiry.
• Maintain up-to-date back-order register and ensure supply chain metrics are met viz monitoring of supplier deliverables, lead-time to delivery, items under various long-term supply contracts.
• Explore and automate the planning, ordering, storage and issuance of Corporate Services Stores to have effective controls and avoid audit queries later.
• Responsible to manage operations in the absence of line manager to avoid operational disruptions.
• Establish the department or teams’ objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
• Regularly evaluate the department or teams’ objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
• Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
• Train and develop other employees, to ensure succession planning is in place.
