Job Description

Role:
This role will report to both the SM&O Manager and the Service Area Managers on a regular basis.
Within the first four months establish a clear structure and contribute to implementing governance for the transformation program including defining roles responsibilities and processes. Additionally provide a detailed assessment of the time and resource requirements for the remainder of the transformation roadmap helping determine whether the external Transformation Managers involvement should continue in a full capacity reduced capacity or if responsibilities can be transitioned entirely to the internal Program Manager.

Essential requirements:

Transition

Accountable for the successful completion of project team deliverables on time within budget and according to specifications

Review and assist Supplier with development of the Transition Plan

Oversee and monitor supplier of the Transition Plan

Work with Supplier(s) and affected business units in developing and adjusting the transition plan if applicable

Assist business units and Supplier in understanding the business impact of any migration outages

Facilitate business units participation in Supplier(s) led transition activities

Facilitate resolution of transition and issues and disputes

Coordinate business unit acceptance testing

  • Communicate status of transition to Contract Management Team and business units
  • Develop contingency and risk mitigation plans for transition
  • Early termination / backout strategies
  • Ensure all key deliverables milestones and operational handovers are completed and signed off before transitioning into the steadystate phase of Business as Usual (BAU) ensuring a seamless transfer of responsibilities to the ongoing operational team.

    Identify highlight and plan for dependencies with Franchisee for migration/transition

    Transformation

  • Ensure that all business transformations that are required for the success of the project are identified and built into the transformation plan
  • Work with the Supplier Service Area Managers and internal Change Management/ to develop the plan
  • Ensure proper alignment and planning across the internal transformation roadmap and the transformation to mitigate risks and ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
  • Act as a key contributor to the communication strategy ensuring messaging around changes related to the transformation journey is effectively conveyed to all stakeholders fostering alignment and engagement throughout the process.

Ensure cohesion and alignment across all service lines throughout the transformation process maintaining oversight to guarantee that transformation activities are integrated and consistent while continuously improving quality and delivering on key objectives. Transformation includes the development of detailed governance processes program management organization internally (including potentially a PMO development) service level reporting invoice payment contract management human resource issues supplier resource planning and many other functions are operationally defined during this period.

Executive presence

Strong project management capability with deadline focus

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Experience in managing multiple large scale projects

Demonstrated success at leading high performing project teams and working as part of a matrix organization

Exceptional problem solving capabilities and use of judgment

Ability to work effectively in a distributed work environment/self starter

Ability and willingness to travel

Functional knowledge of sourced area a plus
