Data Engineer Informatica

As a Data Engineer you will strengthen our Data Delivery function within the area of Data & Analytics. You have a key role in the success of data product deliveries in the bank. Working in one of our agile Data Delivery teams you will develop new and maintain existing data integration into our Informatica based data platform. The Data Engineer will work closely with Scrum Master Product Owner Business Intelligence Architect Data Analyst as well as business stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

Develop Ikano Banks common Enterprise Data Warehouse platform (iData)based on Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle database

Design secure and reliable workflows for staging cleansing and loading with high performance

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements processes and products as input to solution specifications of a development task

Design secure and reliable workflows for staging cleansing and loading with high performance

Populate ODS and data marts with quality data for use with BI solutions

Maintain existing solutions

Investigate and resolve reported defects.

Support data quality routines

COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB:

Min 5 years development experience using Informatica Power Center tool

Experience working with different types of databases and file formats like csv xml json.

Sound knowledge of Datawarehouse concepts

Experience designing data warehouse solutions

Is analytical and has ability to understand data from business context

Competence in file/data handling scripts using shell or python is a plus.

Experienced in implementing and capability to analyze and handle data quality issues

Experience in Banking domain is strongly desired.

Must have soft skills as a person:

Is highly motivated selfdriven collaborative result oriented and structured

Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

English only is sufficient language skill for this assignment
