Network Security GCP

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing network security solutions for the organization
• Conducting security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
• Monitoring network traffic for potential security breaches
• Managing firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Developing and maintaining security policies and procedures
• Collaborating with the IT team to ensure security best practices in GCP environments
• Providing expertise in identity and access management within GCP
• Implementing and managing security controls for GCP resources
• Participating in incident response and security investigations
• Keeping abreast of the latest security trends and best practices
• 
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Professional certification in network security (e.g. CISSP CompTIA Security)
• Strong experience in network security architecture and design
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform security services and features
• Handson experience with firewall administration and configuration
• Proficiency in intrusion detection and prevention systems
• Experience in vulnerability management and security assessment tools
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
• Excellent understanding of encryption technologies and protocols
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
• Relevant experience in managing security in GCP environments preferred
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to network security
• Certification in Google Cloud Platform or relevant cloud security certifications is a plus
