Overview
We are looking for a Web Analytics Specialist to join our team and provide valuable insights into our online performance. The role is crucial in helping us understand user behavior optimize digital marketing strategies and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams to define KPIs and measurement strategies
- Implement and maintain web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Analyze website traffic and user behavior to identify trends and opportunities
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve website and campaign performance
- Conduct A/B testing and multivariate analysis to optimize user interactions
- Utilize data visualization tools to present findings and recommendations
- Work with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into tracking requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web analytics
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper tagging and data collection
- Identify opportunities to integrate web analytics with other data sources and systems
- Train and educate team members on web analytics tools and techniques
- Contribute to strategic planning and forecasting based on web analytics insights
- Support adhoc analysis and reporting requests from various teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Statistics Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience in web analytics data analysis or digital marketing
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Experience with SQL and data manipulation for analysis
- Ability to create compelling data visualizations and presentations
- Knowledge of A/B testing and statistical analysis techniques
- Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts and strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative crossfunctional team environment
- Certifications in web analytics and digital marketing is a plus
- Experience with data integration and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is preferred
- Familiarity with HTML JavaScript and web development concepts is an advantage
- Resourcefulness and ability to proactively solve problems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and analysis
