Job Overview:
The Senior Clinical Pricing Analyst (RFQ & RFP) is a key member of the organization responsible for leading the development and of pricing strategies for clinical services. This role ensures the company maintains competitive and profitable pricing structures and supports the Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for clinical products and services. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills market insights and a collaborative mindset to drive pricing decisions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy Development:
- Lead the creation and implementation of pricing strategies to optimize revenue market competitiveness and profitability for clinical services.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research and data analysis to establish competitive pricing structures taking into account market trends competitor pricing and industry standards.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support the RFQ & RFP processes including the development of pricing proposals and assisting in contract negotiations.
- Track and analyze pricing performance providing insights reports and recommendations for ongoing pricing optimization.
- Ensure that all pricing strategies and practices comply with applicable regulations industry standards and internal policies.
- Participate in the creation and enhancement of pricing models and tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of pricing processes.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of pricing policies procedures and best practices to guide the organization s pricing activities.
- Prepare and present comprehensive pricing analyses and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Utilize advanced analytics and data modeling techniques to inform pricing decisions improving accuracy and profitability predictions.
- Provide support and guidance for pricingrelated inquiries and resolve any pricing issues as they arise.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Healthcare Management or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in pricing healthcare management or related field is preferred.
- 38 years of experience in clinical pricing analysis within the CRO BioTech or BioPharma industries including experience with RFQ & RFP processes.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of healthcare pricing structures reimbursement methodologies and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Excel modeling.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies.
- Expertise in crossfunctional collaboration and project management.
- Knowledge of industryspecific pricing tools and software.
- Familiarity with healthcare industry trends and market dynamics.
- Experience in managed care contract negotiations (preferred).
- Strong problemsolving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
- Ability to communicate complex pricing concepts to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities meet deadlines and thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
