ROR Developer Position
About Company
AppLocum International is a UK based company with ITbased work in Ahmedabad
and seeks to empower IT professionals and organizations through the latest
technologies. We are a product as well as servicebased industry. We have pioneered
in handling projects from the UK related to the healthcare industry in the UK. We
follow a novel techled approach and expand our expertise all over the UK and the
Middle East.
What are we looking for in a candidate
3 to 7 years of experience along with the same years of relevant experience in
Ruby on Rails.
Strong in Ruby OOPS Concepts.
Experience supporting and coding with RESTful API.
SQL/Postgres familiarity should be there.
Experience in any Payment Gateway is Must.
Excellent in DATABASE design.
Comfort with modern web architecture.
Technical design and implementation of new features.
AWS/Cloud Front infrastructure experience is a plus
Good to have knowledge of OmniAuth.
Good to have knowledge of Capistrano or any other deployment platforms.
Knowledge of Squashing bugs and Unit Testing.
Knowledge of Improving security.
Experience with Ruby on Rails along with other common libraries such
as Rspec Resque Swaqqer Sidekiq Redis SMS/Email Services and
Action cable.
Strong Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git/BitBucket.
Project handling and management along with strong communication skills
What will a candidate be doing with us
Design build and maintain efficient reusable and reliable Ruby codes.
Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases keyvalue stores
blob stores).
Integration of userfacing elements developed by frontend developers with
serverside logic.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems.
Help maintain code quality organization and automatization.
A knack for writing clean readable Ruby code.
