Overview:
The Teamcenter Developer plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of the Teamcenter PLM system which is essential for managing product lifecycle data and processes. They work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful implementation and customization of Teamcenter solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop configure and customize Teamcenter solutions to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather system requirements and design solutions
- Implement and maintain CAD integration with Teamcenter
- Create ITK customizations and workflows to support business processes
- Perform system testing and resolve any issues or bugs
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Teamcenter applications
- Document system configurations custom developments and processes
- Participate in Agile development processes and project planning
- Stay updated with the latest Teamcenter releases features and best practices
- Assist in training and knowledge transfer to end users and support teams
- Collaborate with other developers and crossfunctional teams to optimize system performance
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the Teamcenter system
- Contribute to the development of technical standards and guidelines
- Support system upgrades patches and enhancements
- Ensure compliance with security and data integrity standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in Teamcenter development and customization
- Strong proficiency in Java programming and ITK (Integration Toolkit)
- Experience in configuring and integrating CAD software with Teamcenter
- Knowledge of Teamcenter data model workflows and customization techniques
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Experience in Agile development methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality solutions
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Experience in system testing debugging and performance tuning
- Knowledge of version control systems and deployment processes
- Familiarity with PLM best practices and industry standards
- Relevant certifications in Teamcenter or PLM technologies (e.g. Siemens Certified Professional)
