Job Description
Overview:
The Wordpress Developer plays a crucial role in the organization by designing implementing and maintaining WordPressbased websites for clients. They are responsible for creating custom themes plugins and modules as well as ensuring the sites responsiveness and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Modify existing themes and plugins to meet specific client needs
- Ensure the responsiveness and performance of the website
- Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure the functionality and visual appeal of the site
- Conduct website testing and identify any technical problems
- Integrate thirdparty APIs and web services
- Optimize websites for speed and SEO
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients
- Stay updated on the latest web development trends and technologies
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve project goals
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Proven experience as a Wordpress Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in PHP HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and APIs
- Experience with responsive and mobile design
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and problemsolving abilities
