Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons for 8th10th grade students.
- Develop and implement a balanced mathematics curriculum in line with CBSE guidelines.
- Utilize various teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and record students progress maintaining accurate and timely records.
- Integrate technology appropriately into teaching and learning activities.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students to enhance their mathematical skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the mathematics department.
- Participate in and contribute to extracurricular mathematics activities.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students parents and colleagues.
- Ensure a safe inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics Education or relevant field.
- Teaching certification or licensure.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching higher mathematics preferably in a CBSE school.
- Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum standards and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse classroom and differentiate instruction.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software for teaching mathematics.
- Passion for mathematics education and commitment to student success.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Understanding of effective classroom management techniques.
