Job Title: Chief Legal Officer (CLO)

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to join our founding team. As CLO you will oversee all legal aspects of the business ensuring compliance managing legal risks and supporting the company s growth through strategic legal guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Strategy & Risk Management:
- Develop and implement legal strategies that align with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate potential legal risks ensuring regulatory compliance across all areas of the business.
- Corporate Governance & Compliance:
- Oversee corporate governance matters including board meetings equity issuance and shareholder agreements.
- Ensure adherence to labor data protection and industryspecific regulations.
- Contracts & Agreements:
- Draft review and negotiate all contracts including partnership agreements vendor contracts and NDAs.
- Ensure contracts align with business goals and protect the company from risks.
- Fundraising & Equity Structure:
- Provide legal support for fundraising activities ensuring compliance with securities regulations.
- Work with the finance team on equity structuring stock options and investor agreements.
- Dispute Resolution & Litigation:
- Manage and resolve legal disputes handling litigation and other legal proceedings as necessary.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in corporate law preferably with exposure to startups and equitybased roles.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance contract law and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record in managing legal risks and supporting business growth.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic startup environment with minimal resources.
