Job Description
- Legal Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement legal strategies to align with the company s business goals ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Contracts & Agreements: Draft review and negotiate contracts agreements and other legal documents including partnership and vendor agreements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks manage disputes and oversee litigation as needed.
- Corporate Governance: Advise on corporate governance matters ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Intellectual Property: Protect intellectual property including patents trademarks and copyrights and manage IPrelated issues.
- Regulatory Affairs: Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the agritech industry and ensure the company s compliance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with investors stakeholders and external legal counsel to address legal concerns and ensure smooth operations.
- Experience: 10 years of legal experience including significant experience in a leadership role preferably in startups or agritech.
- Skills: Strong understanding of corporate law contract management intellectual property and regulatory compliance.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to work independently manage multiple tasks and contribute to strategic planning and decisionmaking.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate legal concepts to nonlegal stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in a dynamic startup environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
