L3 Network support engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve complex network issues and provide advanced technical support
• Design implement and support network infrastructure solutions
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless network operations
• Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning activities
• Implement and maintain network security measures
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability
• Participate in the oncall rotation and respond to network outages
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation
• Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of new network technologies
• Conduct regular network health checks and audits

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Industry certifications such as CCNP JNCIP or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in network support and administration
• Advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g. BGP OSPF EIGRP)
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g. Wireshark SolarWinds)
• Proficiency in firewall configuration and management
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and network security principles
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
