Job Description
Junior Hairstylist
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior hairstylists in executing hair treatments cuts and styles
- Provide hair washing conditioning and scalp treatments
- Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences
- Keep work stations clean and organized
- Maintain and sanitize hairdressing tools and equipment
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and techniques
- Recommend hair care products to clients
- Manage appointments and walkin clients
- Assist in administrative tasks such as inventory management
- Participate in training and development programs
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a hairstyling program from a recognized institution
- Valid cosmetology license
- 12 years of experience in a salon environment
- Proficiency in haircutting hairstyling and coloring techniques
- Knowledge of hair care products and their applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
- Attention to detail and creativity
- Excellent customer service skills
